Chris spent the first 16 years of his career in the world of Financial Services with MBNA, Citigroup, GE and Santander. In the latter years, as Commercial Director, he ran some of the largest UK retail P&L’s for GE and Santander.
After 5 years running a boutique coaching consultancy, Chris, after 20 years trying(!), finally landed a role which combines his twin passions of sport and the working culture he always dreamed of. Today he is Executive Sponsor for key client programmes and is the Chief Commercial Officer of Will It Make The Boat Go Faster?.
After six years at Will It Make The Boat Go Faster? Chris said recently “The ethos of our business I find as inspiring today as I did when I first started, getting inside the mind of Olympians remains a real privilege”.
What you might not know about Chris
In 1982, aged 11, Chris achieved his ultimate ‘Crazy’ goal when as captain of the school team he got to play football with and against the legendary Kenny Dalglish who denied him a life changing hat trick with a blatant trip. Chris has moved on from this of course.
