Who is Natalie Macaluso?

Natalie Macaluso is a keynote speaker and executive coach who helps senior leaders and their teams build the ownership mindset and performance habits that drive lasting results. She’s worked across FTSE 250 businesses and high-growth organisations in sectors ranging from financial services to hospitality. Natalie brings the hard-won insight of someone who has operated at the sharp end of both performance management and leadership development.

Fresh out of drama school, she quickly discovered that talent alone wasn’t enough. Doors closed, and opportunities were limited. And doing what everyone else was doing just wasn’t going to cut it. So she stopped waiting for a breakthrough and created one – producing her own theatre work against the backdrop of the financial crash, with no credits to her name, and taking full ownership of her future.

That decision shaped everything that followed. It’s the same challenge she still brings to every room she walks into: bridging the gap between knowing what needs to change and actually doing something about it.

The Keynote: From knowing to doing

Natalie’s keynote opens with a provocation: most people in organisations know what they should be doing. And yet the gap between knowing and doing remains stubbornly wide. Why?

Drawing on real-world experience from the leadership teams and boardrooms she has worked across, Natalie unpacks the mindset and structural barriers that keep individuals and teams from performing at their best. Her own story – from professional actor to Head of Customer Success at a fast-growing technology company, to trusted advisor to C-suite executives – provides the backdrop.

In her keynote, Natalie explores:

  • Why ownership and accountability are skills that can be trained, not traits people either have or don’t
  • How high-performing individuals identify and stay focused on what genuinely moves the dial in their role
  • Why reinvention is not reactive – it’s strategic, and how to apply this thinking to your team culture
  • The discipline of performance reviews and goal accountability that sustains momentum
  • What genuine resilience looks like in practice – and how to build it deliberately

This practical keynote is built around that one challenge almost every leadership team faces – the mindset shift that’s needed to drive people to act.

What will your audience take away?

Practical tools to drive change in your business

People leave inspired and equipped with:

  • A mindset shift from waiting for permission to proactively creating momentum – the same shift Natalie made when she stopped waiting for a break and made one herself
  • Practical tools to help individuals focus on what truly moves the dial in their role
  • Strategies to sustain high performance under pressure and bounce back from setbacks with intent
  • A shared language and common approach their team can start using immediately
  • A clear framework for building genuine ownership across their teams – not just compliance

Most leaders can feel something needs to change. The harder question is: why isn’t it changing fast enough.
